The Hub will be used to inspire customers to discover the Ulta Beauty brand, and boost both self and brand confidence. The main technology feature is located at the entrance point, and leads to each specific section of the store with the use of enhanced lighting features that serve as a wayfinding strategy. Located in each section there will be an interactive product screen where customers are able to search product information, product location, virtually try-on select products, and acquire assistance from an associate.
Store associates will aid in personalized shopping by having the ability to access the previous search results and questionnaires answered by customers at the Main Hub. Therefore, associates are able to narrow the product pool in order to connect all shoppers, with a focus on Gen-Z, to the best fit for their needs while offering the immersive experience they desire. Within the Hub’s stations, the immersive technology is paired with an Ulta Beauty branded poster, informing customers of various new products, deals, or campaigns. The Hub feature will draw the most attention from Gen-Z shoppers as they desire immersive and memorable experiences from in-store shopping. Customers are drawn to features that capture their attention, creating a lasting memory and a personal connection to the brand.
